The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program was established by the U.S. Congress in 1990 and is the fifth preference category under U.S. employment-based immigration.
Under the 2022 reforms, investing USD 800,000 in a government-approved commercial project that creates 10 new jobs lets the investor, spouse, and unmarried children under 21 apply for U.S. permanent residence.
